Before any physical models are produced, conceptual sketches and renderings are created to show several possible functional designs.

Complex designs can be easily understood and modified, and illustrating your ideas in three dimension will bring tremendous power and credibility to your project. By doing this, you can explore multiple design possibilities before the final design is complete.

prototyping
Our designers will create three dimensional computer models, mock-ups and highly accurate working prototypes.

Once your design is chosen, an engineered prototype is created to exact dimensions and machined. This model will physically communicate how a product will function.

Computer generated part files will create an exact model of your product. With this data we can develop rapid prototype parts for verification. Once your design has been verified the data is ready for production tooling.

injection molding
Modern Plastics operates multiple shifts with press sizes from 55 tons up to 950 tons, which are supported by the very
latest in robotic automation. Materials range from commodity resins such as HIPS and ABS to engineered resins such as Noryl and glass filled polyesters. Our in-press capabilities include insert molding, over-molding, and in-mold decorating. Secondary operations include component assembly, pad printing, hot stamping, sonic welding, riveting, packaging and labeling.

fabrication
Valley Plating & Fabricating is a multi-shift operation focused on providing the highest quality metal fabrications to your specifications. We have state-of-the art 12’ x 42’ CNC burning tables, featuring Hi-definition plasma, Arcwriting, and Oxyfuel, with the capability of cutting 14” thick material. We can form and bend material utilizing our 230 ton press brake and ¾” x 10’ plate roll. Sawing is accomplished using both vertical and horizontal band saws. Our wire feed and submerged arc weld procedures are compliant to both AWS and MIL-STD 248/278.

powdercoat painting
Modern Stamping & Painting operates two shifts. Starting with parts being racked on our 600’ variable speed conveyor they move through our five stage wash system (Alkaline Cleaner, Rinse, Phosphate Bath, Rinse, Non-Chromatic Sealer). After passing through the drying portion of the 60’ convection oven (max 450 deg), they enter our Nordson powder booth (8 auto & 2 manual guns, 2 recycle modules, and 1 spray to waste module). They then make a final pass through the oven where they are removed for assembly or packaging. Maximum part size: 2’ wide x 4’ high x 4’ long.

Our custom assembly capabilities provide a unique in-house manufacturing process. Whether you have a need for cellular manufacturing or a separate dedicated line, we can accommodate your specific needs. From intricate parts and kits to large complex components with multiple sub-assemblies, we will provide cost effective solutions for your assembly requirements.

distribution
Our 60,000 sq ft. climate controlled distribution center offers you a variety of inventory solutions. Direct package, LTL, and full load shipments along with stocking programs and vendor managed inventory are just a few of the services available to you.
